ALL MIXED UP
All Mixed Up is a short play about Woke Culture in America and the Indian American experience. It follows Aanya, a mixed raced, 13 year old girl who is trying to fit in at a Diwali Party on the Upperwest side. Anjali wrote, directed, and cast a stage reading of All Mixed Up that was performed at The NYU Tisch Goldberg Theater.




THE MUFFIN
Anjali worked with the NYU Broke People Play Festival. She directed, cast, and music scored the coming of age social commentary play. The Muffin is a one act play that follows two young women navigating infertility and the idea of motherhood. It was performed at The NYU Tisch Goldberg Theater for a live audience and was live streamed for 400+ viewers.

DNR
DNR is a song discussing the complex emotions that come with grief inspired as a tribute to Anjali’s grandfather who passed away from a prolonged illness. Anjali Composed, Produced, Professionally Recorded, and arranged DNR which was released on over 100 different streaming Platforms, including Spotify, Sound Cloud, Apple Music, itunes, Youtube, and Deezer. Receiving over 160 streamers in 6 different countries, DNR created a safe space on the internet to discuss loss where individuals discussed loss in their own life and felt less alone.

COCOON
Cocoon is a Short film raising awareness about the lived experience with Social anxiety amongst youth. The film captures the protagonist’s internal thoughts at a party through spoken word poetry, music, and video. Anjali wrote, acted in, directed, composed the music, and produced Cocoon the short film. She recruited a crew of 12 actors and a videographer to produce the 3.5 minute film. The film was published on 3 major social media platforms of Youtube, Tik Tok, and Instagram where she received 1500 views from all over the world.
